Pepperl+Fuchs’ AVS58 and AVM58 series absolute encoders
communicate via SSI (synchronous serial interface). These encoders
feature unbreakable plastic code discs, making them ideal for
applications with heavy shock and vibration. They are available in
either single-turn with 16-bit max resolution, or multi-turn with 30-bit
max resolution versions. These encoders are rated IP65 and feature a
rugged aluminum housing.
