The Ganz Roadstar camera captures car number plate images from moving
vehicles in both day and night conditions. The use of dark IR lights located
beneath the camera housing illuminate the registration plate without distracting
the driver.
The Roadstar camera comprises camera, filters, lens, brackets and an IR
illuminator. Assembly, wiring and testing are performed before
packing/customer shipment. This automatic number plate recognition (ANPR)
camera overcomes all problems associated with number plate capture – speed,
reflectivity, sunlight, car headlights and depth of field – regardless of ambient
lighting conditions.
The assembly can be wall- or pole-mounted in car parks, hotels, petrol stations,
highways, etc.
