The C-MP DVR series of 16, 8 and 4 channel MPEG4 Pentaplex DVRs combine
the latest MPEG4 compression technology with an easy to use, graphical user
interface. The units come with a built-in DVD writer for convenient archiving
and internal space for up to 3 HDDs providing up to 1.5TB storage.
The pentaplex functionality (supports simultaneous live display, record,
playback, backup and network operations) allows a user to view live images and
playback information on the same display whilst backing up previous events.
The record process is uninterrupted during this process and up to 5 others can
view the DVR via a network at the same time.
The MPEG4 compression format gives you longer recording time, achieving
maximum recording efficiency for the available disk space compared with the
traditional M-JPEG or Wavelet compression formats without sacrificing any
picture quality.
The C-MP series DVRs support manual, timer, motion, alarm and network
recording and these can be scheduled to start and stop at any time to provide
a highly flexible solution to a user’s recording needs.
