Check the range hood tag for lamp specifications. This series typically uses 2 lamp
configurations using GU10 light bulbs: 35W Halogen or 1.5W LED. Halogen bulbs will not
work on "LED" models (they will lightly pulse or flash). LED bulbs will work on Halogen
models, however the dimming feature is designed for 35w and will not dim.
Before performing any task outside of basic operation, turn off the power supply and/or
unplug the unit.
Before attempting to handle the light bulbs, ensure the bulbs are cool to the touch,
including any adjacent working surfaces
Turn ON power supply or plug in the unit and range hood to test for operation.
Replacing The Light Bulb:
Light bulb become extremely hot when turned on. DO NOT touch bulb until
switched off and cooled. Touching hot bulbs could cause serious burns.
Hazard of Burns!
If your model uses a retaining ring light housing, twist the
inner ring, using the slots and a light bulb removal tool or
the edge of a small screwdriver, aligning the "OPEN"
arrows, so that the retaining ring and light bulbs can be
removed together.
Retaining Ring Light
Housing: Align arrows on
both inner and outer rings.
Bezel-less Light Housing:
Twist counter-clockwise
1/4-turn.
If your model uses a bezel-less light housing: use moderate
pressure from your (clean) fingertips to twist the (cleaned)
light bulb itself, counter-clockwise, 1/4-twist, to remove the
light bulb from the housing. If the bulb is difficult to twist:
use a piece of quality tape, approximately the width of the
light bulb and 2 hands; adhere it onto the (cleaned)
exposed portion of the bulb, centered; and then using the
extra length of the tape as handles, and also applying
moderate thumb pressure onto the bulb itself, twist the light
bulb out of the housing.
