NOTIFICATION PANEL
You will get a notication when you receive a new message, miss a call, or have an upcoming event. Open the notication
panel to see alarms, wireless network operators or to view a message, reminder or event notication.
OPENING THE NOTIFICATION PANEL
1. When a new icon appears, tap the notication bar and then drag down to open the notication panel.
2. Tap a notication to open the related app.
CLOSING THE NOTIFICATION PANEL
1. To close the notication panel, slide the bottom of the panel upwards.
2. To close a notication (without viewing), tap and hold the notication and drag it to the left/right of the screen.
NOTE:
Notications preferences can be changed in Settings > Apps & notications.
SHORTCUT ICONS
ADDING A NEW HOME SCREEN ITEM
1. From the Home Screen, swipe up or tap to show all apps.
2. To add an item to your Home Screen, drag its icon to your chosen position.
MOVING A HOME SCREEN ITEM
1. Tap and hold an app icon on the Home Screen until it enlarges.
2. Without lifting your nger, drag the icon to the chosen position on the screen, then release it.
NOTE:
There must be enough space for an icon to t on the Home Screen panel.
REMOVING A HOME SCREEN ITEM
1. Tap and hold an app icon on the Home Screen until it enlarges.
2. Without lifting your nger, drag the icon to Remove, then release.
3. To uninstall an app, follow steps 1 and 2 dragging the icon to Uninstall at the top of the screen.
WIDGETS
A widget lets you preview, or use an app. You can place widgets on your Home Screen as icons or preview windows. Several
widgets are already installed on your phone, while more can be downloaded from Google Play.
ADDING A WIDGET
1. Tap and hold the Home Screen.
2. Tap the Widgets option to see what is available.
3. Drag your chosen widget to the Home Screen.
REMOVING A WIDGET
1. Tap and hold the widget icon on the Home Screen until it enlarges.
2. Without lifting your nger, drag the icon to Remove at the top of the screen, then release.
