Two ejector support rollers are located at the rear
of the ejector.
1. Park the machine on level ground. Engage the
parking brake.
2. Lower the bowl to the ground and close the apron.
3. Remov
e any debris from each ejector support
roller.
4. Inspe
ct the ejector support rollers for damage.
Replace the ejector support rollers, if necessary.
5. Pack
the ejector support rollers. Consult your
Caterpillar dealer for further information on this
procedure.

sible injury, do not use the starting motor to turn
the flywhee
l.
Hot engine compone nts can cause burns. Allow
additiona
l time for the engine to cool before mea-
suring/adjusting the unit injectors.
The elect
ronic unit injectors u se high vol tage. Dis-
connect the unit injector enable circuit connector
in order to prevent personal injury. Do not c ome
in conta
ct with the injector terminals while the en-
gine is running.

lified service personnel should perform this
maintenance. Refer to the following topics for your

The operation of Caterpillar engines with improper
