Cleaning and Maintenance
The Castle Serenity features an innovative design that makes cleaning your pellet stove easier
than ever.
Before Igniting:
▪ Dump firepot remnants from previous
fire in ash pan
Every 2-3 days:
▪ Clean glass
▪ Empty ash pan
Weekly:
▪ Brush-down and vacuum-out firebox
with ash vacuum
Monthly:
▪ Visually inspect exhaust vent to
determine if cleaning is necessary
Annually:
▪ Remove and clean exhaust venting
▪ Remove and clean exhaust motor
housing and impellers
Note: Cleaning your pellet stove is a very important part of ownership. A dirty
stove will burn inefficiently and shorten the overall life of the stove. A well-
maintained stove will continue to provide efficient heat to your space for many
years.
