Cstle ESC receiver plugs re designed to work with ny current receiver, but you will need 
to mke sure the polrity is correct when connected to the receiver. The ESC signl wire is 
ornge or white, the positive wire is red, nd the negtive wire is brown. Check your receiver 
documenttion for correct connection polrity if it’s not mrked.
ost receivers use negtive (brown) towrds the outside of the cse nd signl (ornge/
white) towrds the chnnel mrkings on the cse.
Castle ESC/Radio Calibration
Individul trnsmitter signls for neutrl, full throttle, nd full brke vry. You must clibrte 
your Cstle ESC so tht it will operte effectively with your trnsmitter. Anytime the ESC is 
powered up with  new trnsmitter or with different throttle chnnel settings, it will need to 
be clibrted to the trnsmitter’s throttle settings. The ESC my lso need to be clibrted fter 
updting to new softwre vi Cstle Link.
If you re using  Futb-mde trnsmitter, you will need to set the trnsmitter’s throttle 
chnnel direction to the REVERSE (Rev) position. This is either n externl micro switch on the 
trnsmitter or n option vilble within the computer progrmming of the trnsmitter. Plese 
strt by zeroing out ny throttle trim tht you my hve set in your trnsmitter.
How To Calibrate The ESC
Safety First! Remove the pinion prior to calibration.
Step 1: Strt with the trnsmitter O, the bttery disconnected, nd the ESC switch in the OFF 
position (if your ESC hs  switch).
Step 2: Plug  bttery into the ESC. If your ESC does not hve  switch, hold full throttle on your 
trnsmitter before plugging in the bttery.
