Cstle ESC receiver plugs re designed to work with ny current receiver, but you will need
to mke sure the polrity is correct when connected to the receiver. The ESC signl wire is
ornge or white, the positive wire is red, nd the negtive wire is brown. Check your receiver
documenttion for correct connection polrity if it’s not mrked.
ost receivers use negtive (brown) towrds the outside of the cse nd signl (ornge/
white) towrds the chnnel mrkings on the cse.
Castle ESC/Radio Calibration
Individul trnsmitter signls for neutrl, full throttle, nd full brke vry. You must clibrte
your Cstle ESC so tht it will operte effectively with your trnsmitter. Anytime the ESC is
powered up with  new trnsmitter or with different throttle chnnel settings, it will need to
be clibrted to the trnsmitter’s throttle settings. The ESC my lso need to be clibrted fter
updting to new softwre vi Cstle Link.
If you re using  Futb-mde trnsmitter, you will need to set the trnsmitter’s throttle
chnnel direction to the REVERSE (Rev) position. This is either n externl micro switch on the
trnsmitter or n option vilble within the computer progrmming of the trnsmitter. Plese
strt by zeroing out ny throttle trim tht you my hve set in your trnsmitter.
How To Calibrate The ESC
Safety First! Remove the pinion prior to calibration.
Step 1: Strt with the trnsmitter O, the bttery disconnected, nd the ESC switch in the OFF
position (if your ESC hs  switch).
Step 2: Plug  bttery into the ESC. If your ESC does not hve  switch, hold full throttle on your
trnsmitter before plugging in the bttery.
