Foreword
Dear customer,
Please read these operating instructions carefully before using this oven.
Please pay special attention to the safety precautions on the following pages.
Retain these instructions for future reference and hand them over to the new owner if you give
the oven to someone else.
Before Use
Check the device for any damages like an improperly aligned or bent door, damaged door seals and
sealing surfaces, broken or loose hinges or locking mechanisms and dents in the interior and on the
door. Contact customer support if you detect any damage.
This device is designed for private (domestic) use and its power is rated accordingly.
Any professional use is only covered by the warranty in as far as it is comparable with the demands
of private use. It is not intended for any further professional use.
Improper use voids the warranty.
The power connections and the plug must not show any damage. Should you detect any
damage, have the device checked by a qualified specialist to prevent any hazards.
Installation
1. Ensure that all packaging material has been removed from the exterior and interior.
2. The water container must be filled and attached to the device.
3. Not intended for outdoor use!
4. The steam cooker must be placed on a level, stable surface that is sufficiently strong to
support both the oven and the heaviest expected food that will be prepared in the oven.
5. Ensure that the steam cooker is level. The oven should not come into contact with wet, damp
or combustible materials.
6. Ensure a sufficient air supply. Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm above the oven, of 5 cm
on either side and of 10 cm at the back.
7. Never place any objects on the device.
8. Ensure that the power cable is undamaged and not routed below the oven or across hot or
sharp surfaces.
9. The power outlet must be easy to reach to ensure that the power cable can be easily
unplugged in an emergency.
