13.3 Unpacking

To unpack the device, proceed as follows:

• Remove the device out of the carton and remove the packaging

material.

• Place the box on a table or kitchen counter. Be sure the box is

right side up.

• Remove the top cardboard insert (1). Then remove the housing

base (2).

• The food chamber and pusher (3) are located in a bag in one

corner of the box. Remove these next.

• The slicing drum is located inside the food chamber (4).

Remove it WITH GREAT CARE; THE BLADES ARE VERY

SHARP.

• The other drums are located in the corner of the box in separate

bubble bags (5-6). Remove them one at a time, WITH GREAT

CARE; THE BLADES ARE VERY SHARP.

► The drums have very sharp edges. To avoid injury when

unpacking parts, please follow these instructions.

13.4 Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the device against damages during

transit. The packaging materials are selected in accordance

with environmentally compatible and recycling-related points of

view and can therefore be recycled.

Returning the packaging back to the material loop saves raw

materials and reduces the quantities of accumulated waste.

Take any packaging materials that are no longer required to

“Green Dot” recycling collection points for disposal.
