Using the Step Sequencer to Create a Song

Use pads 11 (–) and 12 (+) to specify the
number of the file where you want to store the
sequence data.
• You can specify a sequence data file number from 100
through 149.
3.
Press pad 16 (ENT).
This stores the sequence data in the file whose number
you specified.
NOTE
• Note that the contents of sequence data files 000
through 099 are write protected and cannot be
overwritten.
Use the procedure below to delete the current
sequence.
1.
While holding down the FUNCTION button,
press sequence step key 3 (CLEAR).
2.
Press the SEQ button.
3.
Press pad 16 (ENT).
This deletes the sequence data.
NOTE
• The contents of a sequence data file whose data was
deleted will revert to their last saved state.
• You can also delete the contents of a particular bank
and/or pattern. For more information, refer to the
separate User’s Guide (Tutorial).

While holding down the PADSET selector
button, use pad 13 (TYPE) to select a tone
type.
2.
While holding down the PADSET selector
button, use the 11 (–) and 12 (+) buttons to
change the tone.
This changes the tone of all the pads.

Press the pad whose tone you want to
change.
2.
While holding down the PAD selector button,
use pad 13 (TYPE) to select a tone type.
