to change the contrast from light to dark or vice versa. X is used to
check the current battery life of the calculator. M is used to recalibrate the
touchscreen. This may be necessary if the touchscreen demonstrates lag time
between touch and response. Additionally, recalibration may be necessary
after system reset or battery replacement.
2 Calculator Basics
2.1 Keyboard
The k button will be used frequently throughout this manual. When
you first open the keyboard you will see the tabs labeled 9 , 0 , ( ,
) . The tab labeled9 contains frequently used buttons.
Note the image shows the same digits and operators (add, subtract, multiply
and divide) as seen on the hard keyboard. The backspace key is labeled
as ,.The tab labeled 0 contains a qwerty keyboard which is used to
insert text, alphanumeric characters, Greek symbols, logic and other numeric
symbols. Variables are generally represented by bold italicized lettering.
