7.5 Network Information
The Network Information screens are used
to help troubleshoot and verify connection
to a server.
Touch the Gateway (LAN) button to start a
connection test to the local router. The re-
sults of the “ping” test to the router are dis-
played in the text box. Use the arrows to
the right of the text box to view the test re-
sults.
Touch the Server (WAN) button to start a
connection test to the Internet. The results
of the “ping” test to the Internet are displayed
in the text box. Use the arrows to the right
of the text box to view the test results.
Touch the IP Configuration button to dis-
play a summary of IP configuration informa-
tion. Use this information to help trouble-
shoot connections to the local router and
the Internet.
Touch Network Status to display a page that
will allow “ping” testing of both the local net-
work (LAN) and Internet connection (WAN).
To return to the Service Mode - Main Menu,
touch the Main Menu button.
7.6 Credit Device Test
The Credit Device Test screens allow you
to test the credit devices without adding
credits, and without adding money to the rev-
enue screens. You can now go to this
screen, put in any amount of money for test-
ing, and no record is made of those mon-
ies, and no fee calculated for AMI. Figure
7.6 above shows a coin input signal was re-
ceived from channel 2 with a value of 25
cents. On peripherals that are capable,
clearing the enabled box will disable the
device while you are in this screen. This fea-
ture will work on a Mars 2611 Bill Acceptor,
but not on a coin acceptor as it does not
have the capability to be disabled.
To return to the Service Mode - Main Menu,
touch the Main Menu button.
