Appendix
When disposing of the camera, be sure to first remove its built-in lithium ion battery
and send it in for recycling.
IMPORTANT!
• The battery of this camera is built-in and cannot be replaced by you. Contact your
retailer or a CASIO authorized service center to have the battery replaced.
• Make sure that the camera is turned off before removing the battery.
• The edges of the back cover are sharp. Take care not to cut your fingers when
removing it.
1. Turn off the camera.
2. Open the camera’s frame until it and the
monitor screen panel form a 90 degree
angle.
3. Use a precision Phillips tip screwdriver
to remove the four screws that secure
the monitor screen panel back cover in
place.
4. Open the memory card slot cover.
5. Use a flat-blade precision screwdriver to
release the hooks and then lift the
monitor screen panel back cover in the
direction indicated by the arrow.
6. Peel the black tape from the battery.
