This inserts a bar code ﬁeld along with a bar code or two-

dimensional code that corresponds to your input.

■ Printing Bar Codes or Two-dimensional Codes



You should conﬁrm that a printed bar code or two dimensional

code can be read correctly before actually using it. If a bar code

cannot be read correctly, make the adjustments below.

Lighten the print density (page 61).

Increase the bar code size (page 41)



The tapes below are suitable for bar code and two-dimensional

code label printing.

Black lettering on white tape (WE)*

Blue lettering on white tape (WEB)*

Black lettering on yellow tape (YW)*

* The letters in parentheses indicate the tape model number.



Position a bar code ﬁeld so its left edge is at least 26mm from the

left edge of the tape.

Modifying Printed Codes

This section explains how to perform the following bar code ﬁeld operations:

edit letters and numbers, modify ﬁeld properties, delete the ﬁeld.



For details about ﬁelds, see "Using Fields" (page 24).

Editing Letters and Numbers in a Bar Code Field

Use the procedure below to re-input the letters and numbers in a bar

code ﬁeld.

1 Double-click the bar code ﬁeld.



This displays the Insert Barcode screen.

2 Re-input the letters and numbers for the bar code.

3 Click OK.
