• All the values in the tables are calculated with no. of columns and no. of lines that are optically readable.
However, they may vary according to encoding software you use.
• Each number of Column does not include the right and left low indicators. See Figure 4.6.
• Setting on the nos. of Column and Line may differ according to barcode printing application software.
Check the sizes of H and V directions for maximum readable width for optimum setting.
• Generally, the no. of digits for alphanumeric characters takes approximately two-third for that of
numeric, and for ASCII characters approximately two-fifth.
