4.6.1 Scanning by C-MOS Imager
Recommended No. of Digits
“B: Recommended no. of digits” in the table below is defined for consideration on the following.
Each no. of digits can allow 50 mm or far away of read distance (if the read distance is 50 mm or far
away).
Each “B: Recommended no. of digits” is no. of digits that can be read without having any difficulty and
that it is set for an optimum operation performance. For any symbology (= resolution in the table) with
its readable range 50mm or less, “A: no. of digits in close distance” and “B: Recommended no. of digits”
is the same.
