4.6.1 Scanning by C-MOS Imager
Recommended No. of Digits
“B: Recommended no. of digits” in the table below is defined for consideration on the following.
• Each no. of digits can allow 50 mm or far away of read distance (if the read distance is 50 mm or far
away).
• Each “B: Recommended no. of digits” is no. of digits that can be read without having any difficulty and
that it is set for an optimum operation performance. For any symbology (= resolution in the table) with
its readable range 50mm or less, “A: no. of digits in close distance” and “B: Recommended no. of digits”
is the same.
