Playing with Different Tones
Octave Shift lets you raise or lower the pitch of the
keyboard notes in octave units.
The octave shift setting range is –2 to +2 octaves.
For information about changing the split function
octave, see “To modify split settings” on page
EN-20.
1.
Press the SETTING button to display the
setting screen.
2.
Use the q and w arrow buttons to select
“Keyboard” and then press the ENTER
button.
3.
Use the q and w arrow buttons to select
“Octave Shift”.
4.
Use the u (–) and i (+) arrow buttons to
change the octave.
5.
Press the SETTING button to exit the setting
screen.
You can use the following procedure to select from
among 17 preset temperaments, including the standard
Equal Temperament.
1.
Press the SETTING button to display the
setting screen.
2.
Use the q and w arrow buttons to select
“Keyboard” and then press the ENTER
button.
3.
Use the q and w arrow buttons to select
“Temper. Type”.
4.
Use the u and i arrow buttons to select a
temperament name.
5.
Press the w arrow button to select “Temper.
Base Note”.
6.
Use the u and i arrow buttons to select
the root key of the selected temperament.
7.
Press the SETTING button to exit the setting
screen.
