Quick Start Basics Battery Loading Procedure 1. Insert a coin into the slot of the battery cover on the back of the remote controller, and rotate to the left to remove the cover. 2. Load a battery so its positive side is facing upwards, so you can see it. 3. Aligning the battery cover mark with [OPEN], rotate it to the right until the mark reaches the [LOCK] position.
Attaching the Remote Controller to the Belt Pass the belt through the belt attachment slots of the remote controller. . Belt Precautions • The belt is intended for use with this product only. Do not use it for any other purpose. • Should you notice any itching, rash, or other skin abnormality in the vicinity of the belt, immediately stop using it. • Keep the belt away from and do not leave it in areas where it may be exposed to heat. Heat can cause deterioration of the belt material.
Turning Power On or Off . To turn on power Hold down the [p] button until the operation lamp lights. The operation lamp will light in a color that indicates the current battery level, and then change to flashing green. Turning on the camera will cause it to connect with the remote controller, and the operation lamp will slowly flash green. . To turn off power Hold down the [p] button until the operation lamp goes off.
Operating the Camera with the Remote Controller The operations below can be performed on a remote controller that is connected with a camera. NOTE • The remote controller’s operation lamp will slowly flash green while it is connected with a camera. The operation lamp will flash faster if there is no connection with the camera.
. Shooting with Dramatic Slow Motion Press [0] to start movie recording. At the point where you want to switch to slow motion recording, press the [r/SLOW] button. Normal speed recording will resume after a fixed period of slow motion recording. Press [0] again to stop recording. NOTE • You can specify the slow motion recording start point and duration using the G’z EYE app or the optional controller with LCD. Operation Lamp The operation lamp shows the current remote controller and camera status.
