Save As Quick Text : Save text as quick text and use those pre-populated phrases quickly
when composing a message.

Add To Contacts : Save number to contacts.

Text to Speech : Read out the text message.

View Name Card : View included name card with in message.

Message Info : Show sent TXT, Picture, Video, or Voice message information.
MESSAGES
When the Inbox View is set to Contact , all messages sent to or received from a contact
are managed in the combined messages folder.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ Menu ], select Messaging and press the Center
Select Key [
OK] .
2. Select
Messages and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select the contact name to view and press the Center Select Key [OK] . The
latest message will be shown.
4. Press the Directional Key B right to view the next message.
5. With the message opened, press the Right Soft Key D [ Options ] to access
the following options.
t Forward : Forward the TXT, Picture, Video or Voice message.
t
Lock/Unlock : Locks or unlock the TXT, Picture, Video or Voice message.
t
Save as Quick Text : Save the text as quick text.
t
Add To Contacts : Save the number to contacts.
t
Message Info : Show received and sent TXT, Picture, Video, or Voice message information.

DRAFTS
The Drafts folder contains any draft messages or saved messages. If a message was
interrupted by a voice call or other interrupting event, the message will automatically
be saved here.
1. Press the Left Soft Key C [ Message ], select Drafts and press the Center
Select Key [
OK] .
2. Select a message to edit and press the
Center Select Key [ EDIT ].
Edit the message.
3. To delete a message, press the
Left Soft Key C [ Erase ] and press the Center
Select Key [
OK] to select Yes .
4. Press the
Right Soft Key D [ Options ] to access the following options.
t Send : Send a selected message.
t
Lock/Unlock : Locks or unlock the TXT, Picture, Video, or Voice message.
t
Add To Contacts : Save number to contacts.
t
Erase Drafts : Erase all drafts messages.
VOICEMAIL
New voicemail alerts are sent by your network. These messages indicate how many
new and urgent voicemails are in your voicemail box.
WHEN A NEW VOICEMAIL ARRIVES
When you receive a new voicemail message you’ll hear a sound and a Voicemail icon
appears in the display.
1. Select Listen Now and press the Center Select Key [OK] to access your
voicemail box.
2. Select Listen Later and press the Center Select Key [OK] to ignore the
voicemail message and return to idle mode.
TO ACCESS YOUR VOICE MAILBOX
1. To dial your voicemail box directly, press K , 8 , 6 and then press the
SEND Key G .
