POWER ON/OFF
To set the phone to sound a tone when the phone is powered on/off:
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Sounds Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Power On/Off then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Power On or Power Off and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select
On or Off and press the Center Select Key [ SET ].
DISPLAY SETTINGS
EASY SETUP
To set up display options using the Easy Set-up Wizard:
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Display Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Easy Set-up then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select the display settings including the
PERSONAL BANNER , DISPLAY
BACKLIGHT
, KEYPAD BACKLIGHT , MAIN WALLPAPER , DISPLAY THEMES ,
MENU LAYOUT , DIAL FONTS , MAIN CLOCK FORMAT , FRONT CLOCK FORMAT ,
and press the
Center Select Key [ SET ].
To skip the step, press the
Right Soft Key D [ Skip ].
BANNER
PERSONAL BANNER:
The
Personal Banner can be up to 16 characters and is displayed on your phone’s
screen in idle mode.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Display Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Banner then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Personal Banner and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Enter the banner text (up to 16 characters).
4.
Select Text Color, select the desired color and press the Center Select Key [SET] .
ERI BANNER:
If you use ERI Service, ERI Text is shown on the sub banner.
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Display Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Banner then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
ERI Banner and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select
On or Off and press the Center Select Key [ SET ].
ERI stands for Enhanced Roaming Indicator. The ERI banner will usually tell you if you
are on Verizon service area or if you are roaming/on another network.
BACKLIGHT
To set the duration for backlight illumination for the Main Screen and Keypad:
1. Press the Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Display Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Backlight then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
Display or Keypad and press the Center Select Key [OK] .
3. Select
Duration or Brightness and press the Center Select Key [ OK ]. Select
the following menu options and press the
Center Select Key [ SET ].
Duration: 7 Seconds, 15 Seconds, 30 Seconds, Always On
Brightness: Medium, Medium High, High, Low, Medium Low
• Brightness menu is not available for Keypad backlight.
• Even if Always On is selected for the Backlight setting, the backlight will turn off
when the phone is closed.
• If Always On and/or High are selected for the Backlight setting, the battery life may
be reduced.
WALLPAPER
1. Press the
Center Select Key [ MENU ], select Settings & Tools and press the
Center Select Key [OK] . Select Display Settings , press the Center Select Key
[OK]
, select Wallpaper then press the Center Select Key [OK] .
2. Select
My Pictures , My Videos , or Animation .
