Push to Talk
Remove from call log: Deletes an entry from the PTT Call log.
If there is a missed PTT call, a missed PTT call icon
is
displayed in the Status bar. Drag the Status bar down to open the
Notification panel and touch PTT missed call to check the PTT
Call log.
Using the menu on the PTT Call log screen
The following menu is available on the PTT Call log screen.
Touch the Menu key M to access the following options:
Clear call log: Clears the entire Call log.
Display options: Allows you to display all calls, or display only
missed calls, received calls, or outgoing calls, on the PTT Call log
screen.
PTT off (PTT on): Turns PTT off or on.
Settings: See “Changing Push to Talk settings” on page 115.
Using the menu on the PTT Call log details screen
The following menu is available on the PTT Call log details screen.
Touch the Menu key M to access the following options:
Do Not Disturb on (Do Not Disturb off): Turns Do Not Disturb on
or off.
Remove from call log: Deletes this entry from the PTT Call log.
Working with PTT Contacts
Adding a new PTT contact
1. Touch the Contacts tab on the Push to Talk application.
The PTT Contacts screen opens.
2. Touch the Add icon .
The Add contact screen opens.
3. Touch the “Name” field, then enter the PTT contact’s name.
4. Touch the “PTT number” field, then enter the 10-digit number of
Verizon Wireless PTT subscriber.
