• Read the message on the dialog box that appears.

• This displays the dialog box shown below.

1. Press !o(OFF) to turn off the calculator.
2. Depending on the Examination Mode you want to enter, perform either of the operations
below.
Examination Mode 1:
While holding down the c and h keys, press the o
key. This displays the “Enter Examination Mode 1?” dialog
box.
Examination Mode 2:
While holding down the , and b keys, press the o
key. This displays the “Enter Examination Mode 2?” dialog
box.
3. Press 1(Yes).
4. Next, after reading the message on the dialog box that appears, press 2.
• Performing the operation to enter Examination Mode 2
causes an ATTENTION dialog box to appear. If you are
in an IB exam, press 6 to exit Examination Mode 2. If
you want to continue using Examination Mode 2, press
1(Yes).
5. Press J.
