Quick Start Basics
1. Press [ON/OFF] (Power) to turn off the camera
and then open the battery cover.
Pressing the battery cover, slide it in the direction
indicated by the arrow.
2. Load a memory card.
Positioning the memory card so its
back is facing upwards (in the
direction of the monitor screen), slide it
into the card slot all the way in until
you hear it click securely into place.
3. Close the battery cover.
Pressing the battery cover against the camera, slide
it closed.
• For information about how to replace the memory
card, see page 125.
IMPORTANT!
• Never insert anything besides a supported memory card (page 19) into the memory
card slot.
• Should water or any foreign object ever get into the card slot, immediately turn off
the camera, remove the battery, and contact your retailer or nearest CASIO
authorized service center.
