With some camera models, the functions described in this section become available
while there is a wireless LAN connection between the camera and a smartphone.
Use the procedure below to change the password you use when establishing a
wireless LAN connection between the camera and a smartphone.
1. On the smartphone TOP screen (page 7), tap “ ”.
2. On the smartphone, tap “Setting up the camera”.
3. On the smartphone, tap “WLAN password”.
4. Enter the new password.
• For the password, enter eight single-byte characters.
5. After inputting the password, tap “Done”.
This changes the camera password.
NOTE
• The new password will become valid the next time a wireless LAN connection is
established between the camera and smartphone.
1. On the smartphone TOP screen (page 7), tap “ ”.
2. On the smartphone, tap “Setting up the camera”.
3. On the smartphone, tap “Adjust”.
4. Tap “Run”.
This adjusts the camera’s current date and time settings in accordance with the
smartphone settings.
