1 USB interface Used to connect the Handheld Terminal to a personal computer
and transfer data (upload and download) to or from the Handheld
Terminal. You need to install a dedicated driver on the personal
computer before connecting it to the PC.
2 RS-232C interface Used to connect the Handheld Terminal to a personal computer
and transfer data (upload and download) to or from the Handheld
Terminal. You need to install a dedicated driver on the personal
computer before connecting it to the PC.
3 RS-422 interface Used to connect Bridge Satellite Cradles.
4 Handheld Terminal detection switch
This switch detects if the Handheld Terminal is correctly mounted.
5 Infrared interface port This interface is used for connect-less infrared data transfer. It is
used to communicate between Handheld Terminals.
6 Power supply terminal Used to supply power to the Handheld Terminal.
7 Power switch This switch is used to turn the power on or off.
8 AC adaptor jack Used to hook up the AC adaptor (sold separately) for power
supply.
9 System operation LED Indicates that the system is operating correctly. Indicates the
system operation status and if communication with the system is
possible; whether or not the Handheld Terminal is attached.
Off: The system is not operating.
Lit Green:The system is operating.
10 Communicating LED Indicates that the Handheld Terminal is transmitting.
Off: Not transmitting
Lit Green:Transmitting
Lit Red: Connection with the Bridge Satellite Cradle is abnormal
11 Power LED Indicates whether the power is on or off, and the connection status
of the Handheld Terminal.
Off: Power is off.
Lit Red: Power is on, and the Handheld Terminal is not mounted.
Lit Green:Power is on, and the Handheld Terminal is correctly
mounted.
12 DIP switch Use these switches to set various settings.
