Troubleshooting

Check if your FOMA terminal needs an update, and if necessary, update the required

software. (

・ If you are still unable to identify the problem after checking the points, please contact

"Repairs" on the last page of this manual (in Japanese only) or a repair counter specified by

DOCOMO.

● Is the battery pack properly attached? →p.23

● Has the battery run out? → p.24

The power will not turn on

● Is the battery pack properly attached to the FOMA terminal? →p.23

Is the adapter correctly plugged into the power outlet or cigarette lighter socket?

●

Are the adapter and the FOMA terminal correctly connected? (Is the AC adapter

(optional) firmly connected to the FOMA terminal or the provided desktop holder?)

● Are the charging terminals of the FOMA terminal soiled when the desktop holder is

used? When soiled, wipe with dry cotton swab.

● The temperature of the FOMA terminal may rise and the charge lamp may turn off

with the battery icon flashing if used for a long time while being charged. In this

case, wait for the temperature to go down, then charge again.

● Charging may interrupt depending on the usage condition. Exit all running

functions and then charge again.

Cannot charge the battery (The charge lamp flashes/does not light up)

During operation, during battery charge, or if you use i-

ppli or videophone or watch

1Seg programs for a long time while charging, the temperature of the FOMA terminal,

battery pack or adapter may rise. This is not a problem. Keep using it.
