Resetting to default

Resetting the function settings to default

Reset the function settings to default. For the function that can be reset, see "Menu

list" (

→ p.91).

"Initialize" and "Reset settings" are different. Do not mix them up.

If you perform "Initialize", you will lose all data you have stored.

Deleting stored data at once

Delete stored data and reset the function settings to default.

Performing "Initialize" deletes all of your important data, logs or information such

as personal data like phonebook entries or mails, downloaded images or melodies,

αppli, Widget Appli, PDF data, the photo images (still images) or moving pictures

shot by camera, or various log records or information, etc. (protected data is also

deleted).

・ Pre-installed data will not be deleted. However, Osaifu-Keitai compatible i-αppli

other than iD

設定アプリ (iD appli) may be deleted. Pre-installed i-αppli/Widget

Appli will be deleted if they have been upgraded or deleted then downloaded.

・ Data stored/registered/set in a UIM or microSD card will not be deleted.

・ Charge the battery fully before initializing. Initialization may not be possible if

the battery is low.

・ Do not turn off the power while initializing.
