Using Touchscreen
The FOMA terminal display is a touchscreen display. Touch the screen
directly with your finger to operate.
Notes on use
The touchscreen is designed to be touched lightly with a finger. Do not press the screen
firmly with a finger or pointed objects such as fingernails, ballpoint pens, and pins.
In the following cases, the touchscreen may not respond even if touched.
And they may cause malfunction.
• Operation with finger in glove
• Touching with a fingernail
•
An object placed on the operation surface
• A protective sheet or seal etc. placed
• Operation with wet touchscreen
• Operation with a finger wet from
sweating or water
• Operation underwater
■ To select or execute an item
Touch an icon, palette, touch key, or item directly with your finger.
■ To adjust the scroll bar, etc. or scroll the screen with an
item selected
Touch an item or icon, then slide your finger vertically or
horizontally. You can also adjust the volume.
■ To view the previous or next item
Slide your finger quickly up or down on the screen, then release
your finger.
■ To zoom in or out on the image display screen
Touch the screen with your index finger and thumb, then widen the
distance between the fingers or put the fingers close together.
