Basic Operation

Attaching UIM/battery pack

Make sure to turn the power off before attaching/removing the UIM or the

battery pack. Also, keep the FOMA terminal folded and held in your hand.

・ The UIM is an IC card that contains private information such as your phone number.

・ This FOMA terminal does not operate with a UIM (Blue) in it. If your UIM is blue,

check with a docomo Shop Service Counter for replacement.

❶ Remove the EXILIM Phone panel (→ p.20)

❷ Insert the UIM

Pull out the tray, place the UIM on the tray with

the gold colored IC side down and inser

card as far as it will go in direction

❸ Attach the battery pack and slide the lock

slider to the LOCK position

With the side marked "

󱆗" facing up, attach the

battery pack in direction

its metal terminal fits into the FOMA terminal's

metal terminal, then pr

ess the battery pack
