Before installing DOCOMO Connection Manager
d Check the followings before installing DOCOMO Connection Manager.
① Prepare the FOMA terminal, and FOMA USB Cable with Charge Function 02 (optional) or FOMA
USB Cable (optional)
② Confirm the services and contract details with the Internet Service Provider
③ When the connection software other than DOCOMO Connection Manager is installed, disable it if
necessary

d Setting for Internet Explorer
Before installing DOCOMO Connection Manager, set the Internet option for connection in Internet
Explorer.

Start Internet Explorer to select "ツール" (Tool) → "インターネットオプショ
ン" (Internet option)

Click "接続" (Connect) tab and select
"ダイヤルしない" (Not dialing)

Click "OK"
d Other connection software than DOCOMO Connection Manager
d DOCOMO Connection Manager provides the same functions as the ones included in other connection
software listed below, and this is all you need. Disable or uninstall the following software, if necessary.
■Software you do not need to use simultaneously
a mopera U start up tool
a mopera U connection & setting tool
a FOMA PC setting software
a FOMA byte counter
d Uninstall the following public wireless LAN connection software if Mzone (DOCOMO Public Wireless
LAN Service) is used through DOCOMO Connection Manager. The simultaneous use prohibits Mzone
connection through DOCOMO Connection Manager.
