Select "デバイスマネージャー " (Device Manager)
When the User Account Control screen appears, click "はい" (Yes).
For Windows Vista
Select "デバイスマネージャ " (Device Manager)
When the User Account Control screen appears, click " 続行" (Continue).
For Windows XP
Click the " ハードウェア" (Hardware) tab and click "デバイスマネージャ " (Device manager)

Click each device to check the modem name and the COM port number
The modem name and the COM port number are displayed under " ポート（COMとLPT）" (Ports
(COM&LPT)) and " モデム" (Modem).
Stopping the dial-up connection standby
Stop the dial-up connection service being connected.
