Recording Images
. Auto Focus Restrictions
• Any of the following can make proper focus impossible.
– Solid color wall or other very low contrast subject
– Strongly back lit subject
– Very shiny subject
– Blinds or other subject with a repeating horizontal pattern
– Multiple subjects at varying distances from the camera
– Subject in a dark location
– Camera movement while shooting
– Fast-moving subject
– Subjects outside the focus range of the camera
You can use the procedure below to configure the camera to shoot a snapshot
automatically five seconds after the self-timer icon is touched.
1. In the REC mode main screen, touch the “ ” (Home) icon.
2. On the home screen, touch the “r” (Self-timer) icon.
The camera will shoot an image in 5 seconds.
Using the Self-timer (Self-timer)
