Specifications
X723-300151 5-12 Issue 2
It should be noted that 9600 is only for local Test access to the Network
Management UARTs on the System Controller and must not be used
across the network.
Each management configuration (1-14+Default) specifies one of the seven
patchfields available on the System Control cards and Dual LIU cards
fitted in ports 1 and 2. Note that the patchfields for any Dual LIUs fitted
in ports 3 and 4 are set by hardware switches. The display gives a
configuration number index across the top and by reading the relevant
column the patch selections can be determined. In order to modify the
management the entire set of 15 numbers must be entered at the relevant
line. The 'D' column specifies the patchfields selected for the default
configuration which will be run if the unit becomes un-configured due to
the backup battery becoming discharged.
Severely Errored second Limit
This sets the number of errors in any one second before it is classed as a
severely errored second. If it is set to 915, the counter will be disabled.
5.3.5 Security Password Modification
This command allows the operator to set the password utilised when in
secure mode. Note that this is a hidden menu option and requires the
operator to enter Ctrl + W - ENTER to access it.
The password is in the form of up to 8 alphanumeric characters.

Selecting 'Password Default' will set the password to the default which is
ENETXX where XX is the equipment identity number. Note that if the
equipment number is changed in the 'Install' menu, then 'Password
default' must be re-selected otherwise the previous number will remain as
part of the default password.
