Specifications
X723-300151 5-10 Issue 2
Redundant Mode Operation
This facility must be enabled if a redundant system controller is fitted.
Expansion Mode Operation
This facility is not available in these multiplexers and must be set to
disabled.
Alarm Event Detect Period
If a system configuration is programmed for an alarm event, then the
alarm fault must exist for the specified period prior to the event occurring.
The selection of a new system configuration will reset the detect period
which must then be completed prior to a second event occurring. The
detect period is the time in seconds. Note if 0 is set the detection period
will be between 0 and <1 second.
Alarm Event Hold Period
The alarm event hold period determines the amount of time a new system
configuration will be active prior to further alarm events being allowed to
occur. The time is in seconds.
Alarm Event Channel Card Fault Level
The alarm level set will be used to determine the failure of any circuit
specified as an alarm event source. The fault level is the NCS fault level
which may be determined from the fault tables in Chapter 6.
Network Operation
The multiplexer may be operated on a network using the Network Control
System (NCS), and this facility may be enabled or disabled. For
local/remote working, network operation must be disabled.
CRC4, Counts and Durations Statistics gathering
The 3000 Series, build 6 or later, node supports enhancements to Network
Management communications protocols to allow the efficient collection of
CRC4, Counts and Durations statistics information from any node by the
Network Control System. The Network CRC and Counts and Durations
(C/D) install options allow these enhancements to be selectively turned on
and off, and CRC4 upload delay to be adjusted.
