5.2 Time Menu
The multiplexer supports a real time clock. The time menu options
provide date entry in the form: day of month, month, year. Using this
together with the time data (day, hour, minute) the multiplexer is able to
calculate the current week number and provide support for weekly timed
event control. The number ranges are 1 to 52 for the week of the year, day
1 to 7 for the week day (Sunday normally = day 1), and standard 24 hour
clock for hour, minute and second. The seconds are not required to be
entered, they will be set to zero when <enter> is pressed.

5.2.3 Timed Events
This uses a single store for all timed events which are accessed on a week
number basis. Displaying, inserting and removing events all require a
week number to be specified. Week numbers range from 1 to 52 with
week 0 as a special selection. Week 0 events will occur in all weeks unless
specifically overwritten. If a specified week event has the same time as a
week 0 event, then the specified week event has priority. When week 0
events are overwritten by editing a selected week (other than 0) they still
operate in all other weeks in which they have not been modified.
The event timer will always run the last valid event prior to the current
time, therefore it is necessary initially to insert an event which will run
the current configuration at a time prior to the current time, for example
five minutes before. This event 1 will be run immediately the events are
enabled and will therefore cause no disruption to traffic.
