The miscellaneous LED for each line will illuminate for the following
reasons:
1) PCM Loss
2) AIS
3) Frame Sync Loss
4) Error Rate 10

5) Frame Slip
6) Multiframe Sync Loss
7) TS16 A.I.S
8) Low Error Rate
9) Line Output Fail
10) Local Loop
11) Incoming Loop
Both miscellaneous LEDs will illuminate for the following reasons.
1) System Restart
2) Un-configured
3) Config Rx Fail (Transfer of data from the System Controller)
4) Config Tx Fail (Transfer of data to the System Controller)
5) Self Test Fail
6) Card in Bypass
3.2 Dual LIU Adaptors
DT315 and DT316 I/O adaptors must be used in conjunction with the Dual
LIU. These include the isolation/matching transformers and bypass
relays. The I/O adaptors provide the means of connection to the PCM
lines and G.703 clock (See Section 2.2.5). Knurled screws are supplied
with the I/O adaptors to fit them to the chassis, these must be used to
ensure adequate earthing of the connector screens.
3.2.1 DT315 75 ohm I/O Adaptor
This adaptor uses standard 75 ohm BNC sockets for connection to the two
PCM lines and the G.703 clock. As supplied, the screens of the output
sockets are connected to earth and the screens of the input connectors are
isolated from earth. (See Section 2.2.5)
