This adaptor provides additional screening and must be used where
compliance to EMC specifications are required. The pin connections are
shown in the relevant channel card manual.
2.2.7 Network Management Connections
Network management is connected to the unit via a 9-way D-type socket.
This port uses V.28 signal levels. The COM signals on the port are
defined by the System Controller Patchfield. Note: it is possible to re-
direct the local port VDU access to the Network Port using these
Patchfields.

2.2.8 Local Port Connections
Local port (DCE) access is provided via a 9-way D-type socket situated on
the front of the system controller PCB. Access can be gained to this
connector via a covered cut out in the front panel.
