Example 2 - Self Test Failed

self test failed
If the self test fails, there will be diagnostic information presented to the
operator after the self test failed message. This will list the faults and
show the total number of items that have failed. An active fault 'Self test
fail' will be raised, and it will be necessary to carry out a satisfactory self
test to clear it.
If two system controllers are present, only the on-line system controller
will perform its self test.
6.2.6 Alarm Relay Setting and Clearing
Setting
The 'Relay set' command allows the operator to set the condition of any of
the 3200 alarm and external relays. If they are already set active due to
any faults or configuration commands they can still be disabled. Once set,
either enabled or disabled, the relay will remain in that condition until the
operator leaves the relay selection menu when it will automatically be
reset to its current true state.

System | Prompt | serVice | Rx.atten. | ext1 | ext2 | ext3 | ext4 >1
ext1 Enabled (0=disable 1=enable) >0
This selection would have disabled the 'external control relay 1' (ext1)
even though it was in the active state due to a current configuration
command as described in section 5.4.5.3.
6.2.7 System LED Test
This command allows the operator to illuminate any of the system
controller LEDs. If they are already active then this command will have
no effect. Once illuminated, the LEDs will remain in that condition for a
short time after the operator leaves the LED selection menu.

This selection would illuminate the 'not primary sync' LED if not already
lit.
