1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts
are included.
2. Thread the cable through the collar, coupling kit, canopy, nipple,
mounting strap, washer, hex nut and two holes of the strain relief
in order.
3. Install the end of nipple by screwing into coupling kit.
4. Attach the nipple to the mounting strap, then secure it with washer
and hex nut.
5. Measure the desired length of the cable (A) from the canopy to the top
side of the ferrule nut and leave an additional 9" of cable (B) above the canopy (include the canopy). Then cut off the excess
cable. (See Figure 1)
6. Adjust strain relief at 9" position from the top of the cable.
7. Mark the 3" of cord (C) from the top of the cord (B). cut carefully around cable and peel off outer insulation to reveal 3 inner
wires.
CAUTION: Cutting too deep may damage the insulation layer of 3 inner wires.
