In the interests of your own safety, it is essential to
take note of the following:
• Allhydrauliccomponentsaresuitableonlyforuse
inmodelbuildingandmayonlybeusedforthis
purpose.
• Allhydrauliccomponentsaretobekeptoutof
thereachofsmallchildren(Thereisariskthat
smallpartsoroilcanbeswallowed).
• Thecommissioningandoperationofhydraulic
componentsmaybecarriedoutbyminorsonly
whenunderadultsupervision.
• Even though these hydraulic components are
intended for use in model building, there is a
significant risk of burns or crushing injury if
they are handled incorrectly.
• Operationofthehydrauliccomponentsinan
environmentinwhichtherearegases,dustor
vapoursisnotallowed.
• Beforeswitchingonthepumpmotor,makesure
thatallservosareintheneutralposition,other-
wisecylinderscouldbeabruptlyextended.Risk
of injury!
• Donotexceedthemaximumpermittedworking
pressureof13bar(max.pumpoutput).
• Thehydrauliccomponentscanbecomeveryhot
duringoperation.Risk of injury!
• Duringconnectionofthehydrauliccomponents,
theelectricmotormustbeisolatedfromany
supplyofvoltage.
• Beforecommissioning,fastenallcomponents
securelytoasuitablesubstructure.
• Checkthatallconnectinghosesarefirmlyseated
intheconnectionnipples.
• Shouldthehydraulicsbedismantled,firstmake
surethatallcomponentsaredepressurised.
• Donotallowthepumpmotorspeedtoexceed
7,000rpmandconnectthemotortothecontrol-
lerwithdirectionofrotationclockwise(lookingin
thedirectionofthepump).
• Thehydraulicpumpdeliversamax.working
pressureof13bar.Thiscanbesetlowerwith
thepressurecontroller(turnthesettingscrew
anti-clockwise)
• Allconnectionstothehydraulicpumpmustbe
madeinaccordancewiththefollowingconnec-
tiondiagram.Noconnectionmaybeclosedoff.
• Markingsonthehydraulicpump
OUT = tocontrolvalve
IN = fromtank
RET = totank
LEAK = totank
• Thetankmustbeprovidedwithanairventand
canbefilledto80%max.ofitstotalvolume.
• Donotopenthehydraulicpumporallowittorun
withoutoil.
• Useonlythespecifiedhydraulicoil.Thisisclassi-
fiedasnon-hazardous.(Thecorrespondingsafety
datasheetscanberequested.)
• Changethehydraulicoilafteraninitialrunning
timeofonehour,thereaftereverytenhours
runningtime.
• Themotoradapterandpumppackageincludes
allthenecessarypartsforthemotor-pump
coupling.
• Feedquantityaccordingtospeed,upto650ml/
min.
• Thecylindersaremanufacturedentirelyfrom
stainlesssteel.
• Allcylindersarescrewedtogetherandcanbe
dismantledto,forexample,changeaseal.
• Anumberofcontrolvalvescanbeconnectedin
line.
• Alwaysoneconnectionblockandonepressure
controllerforeachcontrolvalveunit.
Ourgeneralconditionsofbusinessapply.Amongst
otherthings,ourguaranteeandliabilityareexcluded
intheeventofpersonalinjuryormaterialdamage
resultingfromthefollowingcauses:
• Useofthehydrauliccomponentsforapurposeor
inamannerotherthanasintended.
• Incorrectassembly,dismantling,commissioning
andmaintenanceofthehydrauliccomponents.
• Unauthorisedconstructionalmodificationofthe
hydrauliccomponents.
• Repairscarriedoutincorrectly.
