Blue and red LED illuminated: Training mode (Reverse travel ON)
Blue LED illuminated: Racing mode (Reverse travel OFF)
When you operate the speed controller for the first time, the undervoltage pro-
tection (Cut-Off) is adjusted on 5.4 V NiMH.This depends on the type of battery
used. The appropriate undervoltage protection is activated after the battery type
being used, has been selected:
Red LED flashes: Undervoltage protection on
NiCd/NiMH:
LED flashes when a battery voltage of 4 V is
reached or undershot, engine continues to
run.
Two-cell or three-cell LiPo:
LED flashes when the battery voltage of
3.0 V per cell is reached or undershot.
The engine continues to run, but only on
half power.
Discontinue using the vehicle and charge
the battery.
Blue LED flashes: The LED flashes if the speed controller is overheating. The power
to the motor is shut off. Please switch speed controller off and wait until the
controller has cooled down.
The low voltage protection (cut-off) powers down the motor if the set voltage is
not maintained.
