Table 15 — ICVC Primary and Secondary Messages and
Custom Alarm/Alert Messages with Troubleshooting Guides (cont)
*[LIMIT] is shown on the ICVC as the temperature, pressure, voltage, etc., set point predefined or selected by the operator
as an override, alert, or alarm condition. [VALUE] is the actual pressure, temperature, voltage, etc., at which the control tripped.

RECYCLE
ALERT
EXCESSIVE RECYCLE STARTS
152->Excessive
recycle starts.
Chiller load is too low to keep compressor on line
and there has been more than 5 starts in 4 hours.
Check HGBP Isolation valve position.
Increase chiller load.
Adjust hot gas bypass parameters in
OPTIONS screen.
Increase (RECYCLE CONTROL)
RESTART DELTA T in SETUP1 Screen.

POTENTIAL
FREEZE-UP
COND PRESS/TEMP
TOO LOW
154->Condenser freeze
up prevention
The chiller is not in pumpdown mode and the
condenser pressure transducer is reading a
pressure that could freeze the condenser tubes.
Check CONDENSER FREEZE POINT setting.
See Table 5.
Check for condenser refrigerant leaks.
Check condenser liquid temperature.
Check CONDENSER PRESSURE sensor wiring
and accuracy on CCM terminals J2-4, J2-5 and
J2-6.
Place the chiller in PUMPDOWN mode if the
vessel is evacuated.
