Performance™ Series packaged air conditioners and packaged gas
furnace/air conditioners represent years of research and design with one goal in mind – making your family
comfortable. With durable, lasting comfort and the option to choose air conditioning only or gas heating and
air conditioning from one package, Performance Series packaged products represent the Carrier quality,
environmental stewardship and lasting durability that have endured for more than a century. And, with multi-speed
blowers, these models can provide enhanced summer dehumidification when managed by select thermostats.
What You Can Expect From Carrier
SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), EER (Energy Efficiency Ratio) and AFUE
(Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency) ratings are like your car’s MPG – the higher the
number, the greater the potential for savings. Performance™ Series packaged air
conditioners and packaged gas furnace/air conditioners offer 16.0 SEER/12.0 EER
cooling. The packaged gas furnace/air conditioner also reaches 81% AFUE heating.
A galvanized steel cabinet and louvered steel coil guard provide superior protection
against dings, dents and other outdoor threats. Our unique cabinet design puts the
condensing coil above ground level and further out of harm’s way. The bottom half
of the cabinet is fully sealed to help keep moisture, leaves, dirt and other potential
corrosives out.
Carrier was the first to offer systems with Puron
®
refrigerant, which does not
contribute to ozone depletion. By replacing an older, less efficient packaged product
with a Performance™ Series packaged air conditioner or packaged gas furnace/air
conditioner, you are reducing energy use and your environmental impact.

Performance™ Series packaged air conditioners
and packaged gas furnace/air conditioners are covered by a 10-year parts limited
warranty upon timely registration. The limited warranty period is five years if not
registered within 90 days of installation. Jurisdictions where warranty benefits
cannot be conditioned on registration will receive the registered limited warranty

With sound levels as low as 72 decibels, you can enjoy the comfort with very little
background noise. All models include components that help keep sound levels
