J. Special Features (Field Installed):
Certain features are not applicable when the features designated by * are specified. For
assistance in amending the specifications, contact your local Carrier Sales Office.
1. * Internal Condensate Pump:
The condensate pump shall remove condensate from the drain pan when gravity
drainage cannot be used. The lift capability of the condensate pump shall be 20 inches.
Float control shall be in the condensate sump to shut unit down in case of pump
malfunction.
2. Fresh Air Intake Kit:
Kit shall include filter and duct connections to provide for outdoor ventilation air.
3. Indoor Guard Kit:
Kit shall include a guard for the discharge grille to prevent objects from entering the air
sweep mechanism.
4. Electronic Programmable Thermostat:
Thermostat shall be commercial grade and shall provide 7-day, 4-event scheduling.
Integral sub-base shall be included. Thermostat shall also provide 3-speed fan
switchover capability, air sweep auto changeover, and shall not require a battery to
retain memory.
5. Power Ventilation Kit:
Kit shall be used with the accessory fresh air kit when fresh air must be ducted in. The
kit will overcome duct static to provide a constant supply of ventilation air. Kit consists
of booster fan and adjustable speed control to properly balance fan to achieve required
airflow rate.
