• Scroll through the Timer periods as explained in the previous
section
• Choose the SLEEP Timer period
• Enter the desired Start/Stop times (SLEEP-START and
SLEEP-STOP).
• Press the SET button.
SETTING A DAILY TIMER PERIOD
You can set the Timer periods so that the air conditioner operates
automatically at the set times on a daily basis. This can be indi-
vidually set for Timer periods 1, 2, 3 or SLEEP.
NOTE: The daily timer operates only when there is a direct
line of sight between the remote controller and the air con-
ditioner.
• Press the TIMER button to select the Timer period that you
want to activate daily.
• Press the SET button until the word DAILY appears on the
display.
• Press the SET button to confirm DAILY operation for the se-
lected Timer period. Make sure you point the remote controller
at the air conditioner while you press the SET button.
CANCELING A DAILY TIMER PERIOD
Follow the steps for setting a DAILY Timer Period except in the
second step; press the SET button until the work DAILY disap-
pears from the display.
CANCELING A TIMER PERIOD
START/STOP TIME
• Press the TIMER button to select the Timer period (1,2,3, or
SLEEP) which you want to cancel
• Press the CLEAR button to cancel the selected Timer period;
the Start/Stop times disappear from the display.
• Press the SET button to confirm the cancellation. Make
sure you point the remote controller at the air conditioner
while you press the SET button.
CANCELING ALL TIMER PERIOD
START/STOP TIMES
• Press the TIMER button
• Hold the CLEAR button down until all the Timer period Start/
Stop times disappear from the display.
• Check that the TIMER lamp on the air conditioner is off. (see
page 9 for location)
ROOM AIR TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
When the remote controller is OFF: the current room tempera-
ture is displayed.
When the remote controller is ON:
• Slide down the front cover on the remote controller below the
On/Off Switch
• Press the ROOM button to display the current room air tem-
perature. The temperature is displayed for a number of seconds.
DELAYED START/STOP OPERATION
You can quickly and easily set the required Start or Stop delay.
When the air conditioner is ON:
• Press the Delay button. The clock advances one hour, while
the word STOP and the number 3 flash.
• Each additional pressing of the DELAY button advances the
clock by one hour.
• Make sure you point the remote controller at the air condi-
tioner while you press the DELAY button. The word STOP will
stop flashing when the command has been transmitted to the air
