Pushed once, the louver will swing continuously. If the button is
pushed again, the louver will move to position 1. If position 2
through 5 is desired, push the button repeatedly until the desired
position (2 through 5) is displayed on the remote control.
Selecting Vertical Direction of the Louver
The vertical louvers can be adjusted manually to direct the airflow
to achieve the optimal comfort in the space.

Sleep Mode
This mode is used to conserve energy and can be used when the
unit is in the COOL, HEAT or DRY mode only.
Cool Mode:
S Push the SLEEP button. The SLEEP display will appear
on the remote control.

S After 1 hour the set point will be raised by 1.8_F(1_C).
S After another hour, the set point will be raised by another
1.8_F(1_C)andthefanwillruninlowspeed.
S The SLEEP mode will be cancelled when the SLEEP
button is pushed again.
Heat Mode:
S Same as cooling mode but set points will be lowered by
1.8_F(1_C) and the HEAT icon will disappear from the
display panel.
Timer Function
This function will allow the user to set the unit to run for a number
of hours and be off for a number of hours, on a continuous basis.
The time OFF and ON can be set from 0.5 hours to 24 hours in
half hour increments, within a one minute accuracy.

Setting the Timer ON Time
With the remote control and system OFF, press the “TIMER”
button. Within 5 seconds, use the “+” and “--” buttons to set the
TIMER ON hours. The range of hours is from 0.5 to 24 hours, in
half hour increments. Press the “TIMER” button again to save the
setting.
Setting the Timer OFF Time
With the remote control and system ON, press the “TIMER”
button within 5 seconds, use the “+” and “--” button to set the
Timer OFF hours. The range of hours is 0.5 to 24 hours, in half
hour increments. Press the “TIMER” button again to save the
setting.
NOTE:
1. Once the Time ON time is set to a number of hours, and
the Time OFF time is set to a number of hours, the system
will operate on and off at those set times. It will continue
until the hours ON and OFF are changed or the timer func-
tion is turned OFF.
2. To Turn OFF timer function, simply press the “TIMER”
button again, clearing the timer function from the remote
control display.
Light Function
This function will allow the user to Turn ON or OFF the display
on the front panel.
Press the light icon
to turn the indoor unit front panel ON or
OFF. The remote control will display the Light Icon
as shown
below.

Time Delay
If the On/Off button is pressed too soon after a stop, the
compressor will not start for 3 minutes due to the inherent
protection against frequent compressor cycling. The unit will only
emit an audible beep when the signals are received correctly.
Heating Featur

If the unit is in the heating mode, there will be a delay when the
fan starts. The fan will start only after the coil is warmed up to
prevent cold blow.
Defrost
Operation
In heating mode, if the outdoor coil is frosted, the indoor fan and
outdoor fan will turn off while system removes the frost on the
outdoor coil. “H1” will be displayed on the display panel on the
front cover of the unit.
The system will automatically revert to normal operation when
frost is removed from the outdoor unit, and “H1” will disappear.
Auto
Start
If the power fails while the unit is operating, the unit stores the
operating condition, and it will start operation automatically under
those conditions when the power is restored.
