(Probable cause / Remedy )
Compressor does not run:
• Seized.
Energize and measure current
• Motor burn out, broken insulation
Check insulation resistance with 500 V
ohmmeter (2 M
Ω min.)
• Open winding
Check continuity and resistance
• Internal protection or circuit breaker open
Check continuity
Compressor cycles on and off:
• Open thermal protection
Check operating pressure
• Excessive current
Energize and measure current
Insufficient cooling capacity:
• Low compression
Check operating pressures and running
current
Abnormal noise and vibrations:
• Liquid slugging
Check system operating conditions
• Bolts/springs loose
Retighten

• Grippato
Mettere in tensione e verificare l’intensità
• Motore bruciato, isolamento danneggiato
Controllare la resistenza l’isolamento con
un ohmmetro da 500V (2 M
Ω min.)
• Avvolgimento aperto
Verificare la continuità e la resistenza
• Protezione termica aperta o sezionatore
aperto
Verificare la continuità
Il compressore si avvia e si ferma:
• Protezioni termiche aperte
Verificare la pressione di funzionamento
• Sovratensione
Mettere in tensione e verificare l’intensità
Resa di raffreddamento insufficiente:
• Compressione troppo bassa
Controllare le pressioni di funzionamento
e la corrente
Strani rumori e vibrazioni:
• Ingresso di liquido
Verificare le condizioni di funzionamento
• Bulloni/molle non corretamente serrati
Verificare il serraggio
