Configuration - OSPF Mode

Use the Router OSPF no area command to remove a specific area from the OSPF configuration.
To set an area, see the area commands command on page 15-2, or area stub command on
page 15-2, the first use of either command will set the area.
Syntax: (config-ospf)# no area area-id
Example: (config-ospf)# no area 1
Supported Platforms:
Adit 3104, Adit 3200, Adit 3500
no area authentication
Use the Router OSPF no area authentication command to remove an area’s authentication. See
the area commands command on page 15-2 for the counterpart of this command.
Syntax: (config-ospf)# no area area-id authentication
Example: (config-ospf)# no area 1 authentication

no area stub
Use the Router OSPF no area stub command to remove the definition of an area as a Stub area. See
the area stub command on page 15-2 for the counterpart of this command.
Syntax: (config-ospf)# no area area-id stub
Example: (config-ospf)# no area 1 stub

Field Definition
area-id ID of area to be removed, in the form:
area number - Range 0-4294967295
area IP address - IP address of the area.

area IP address - IP address of the area.

area-id Identifier of the stub area, in the form:
ID number - Range 0-4294967295
IP address - IP address of the area.
